Perio Protect® is a simple extra step that can be added to your daily brushing and flossing routine. You will be fitted for a custom-designed oral appliance called a Perio Tray®, which delivers a special gel deep inside periodontal pockets into areas that are too difficult to access with a toothbrush or dental floss. The gel can help fight off bacteria and make it more challenging for an infection to proliferate, ultimately limiting the ability of gum disease to advance toward more serious stages. The Perio Tray® is designed for the most comfortable fit possible, and only needs to be worn for a very brief amount of time each day.
