10 Dentistry Services: Comprehensive Care for Busy Patients

Part of Fulbright’s commitment to comprehensive care is offering a wide array of dental services to our patients. Today, people are busier than ever before, with obligations and responsibilities that make taking time for self-care (and caring for your oral health is self-care) seem impossible — especially if it involves driving from provider to provider to get the treatment you need. By offering general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and family dentistry all under one roof, we can provide our patients with an easier way to access the care that they need.

Dentistry Services to Meet All Your Family’s Needs

Here is just a small sample of the ways we are working to make it easier than ever to care for your family’s oral health.

1. Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are one of the most popular cosmetic dental treatments we offer at Fullbright. Veneers are designed to hide cosmetic imperfections such as gaps, discoloration, pitting or uneven teeth using your existing teeth. Veneers are a thin porcelain or composite resin coating that adhere to the front of your natural teeth. They are designed in a lab using your dental molds to ensure that your new smile looks great when treatment is complete.

2. CEREC Same-Day Crowns

One of the truths of dentistry is that by the time a patient needs a crown, they really needed it yesterday. While we do not have a time machine to provide relief sooner, we have the next best option — CEREC Same Day Crowns. Our CEREC machine can create a crown the day of your visit. Instead of waiting two weeks for your molds to be sent to a lab to generate a new crown, we are able to create the same exact crown on site and install it without the wait.

3. Invisalign and other Orthodontics

Restore confidence in your smile with dental aligners and other targeted orthodontic treatments. In addition to the aesthetic benefits of these corrective treatments, many patients also note that orthodontic care can reduce pain and headaches or other dental discomforts by correctly aligning the teeth to the proper bite. Invisalign is a popular treatment due to its low profile and ease of use.

4. Perio Protect Trays

Gum disease is associated with a variety of chronic health conditions in addition to the damage it does to your teeth and your complete healthcomplete health. Perio Protect is a customized, tray-based system that penetrates deep below the gum line to kill the harmful bacteria that can destroy your gums and wreak havoc in the rest of your body. Wearing custom Perio Protect trays as prescribed is a fast and easy way to fight gum disease — and far more pleasant than scaling or surgery.

5. Teeth Whitening

Our tooth enamel gets quite a beating from the foods we eat, beverages we drink and unhealthy habits like vaping or smoking. Tooth whitening can provide the refresh you need to bring back the bright white you love and restore your confidence in your smile. Teeth whitening can be done in-office using a specialized whitening solution in combination with light treatment. For patients on the go, or those who prefer to whiten their teeth more gradually, take-home trays are also an option.

6. Night Guards

Are you a night grinder? Many patients, particularly those under stress (and who isn’t these days), come to our office complaining that they grind their teeth in their sleep. This is a pressing issue because it causes premature wear and damage to your teeth, not to mention jaw pain, headaches and tooth pain. A customized night guard is designed to fit over your teeth as you sleep and protect them from the damage of grinding against one another at night. Customization is the key to encouraging regular use, as a fitted mouth guard is far more comfortable and unobtrusive.

7. Nitrous & Sedation

Even though every dentist and hygienist loves their job at Fullbright, we know that not everyone loves visiting the dentist. Some patients are even terrified. We have compassion and empathy for our patients who struggle with fear of the dentist and we work hard to provide treatments that help alleviate these fears. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable receiving care that is truly instrumental in protecting your overall health. We offer nitrous and sedation dentistry to help you relax before and during your procedure.

8. Laser Bacterial Reduction & Gum Therapy

As we noted when discussing Perio Protect, protecting your gums is paramount in the fight to protect your oral health (and overall wellness). Hygienic treatments like laser bacterial reduction and gum therapy can provide non-surgical alternatives for killing bacteria that can harm your teeth and gums. Periodontal disease (gum disease) is a serious condition that should be treated quickly and thoroughly to protect your complete health and your smile.

9. Sleep Apnea

What does a dentist have to do with the quality of your sleep? Quite a bit, actually. Your mouth and throat directly impact the quality of your sleep, and your dentist may be able to help. Many patients suffer from sleep apnea and never know it. They awaken exhausted after a “full night’s sleep” and suffer from cognitive challenges, lethargy and long-term health conditions. Our practice has treatment options that may be able to help you rest easy once more.

10. Family Dentistry

Every member of the family is welcome at Fulbright because we understand the importance of simplifying necessities like dental care. There’s no reason for every member of the family to see a different provider when you can get care from the same team. We provide the same quality care to toddlers, tweens, teens, parents and grandparents. We are proud to treat multiple generations in the same family. In fact, we love it.
